Best uses
For counters near faucets, plan to wipe the surface dry after use. This helps keep mineral film from making the finish look uneven. A lighter color may be easier to live with if visible daily wear is a concern.
Corian is not intended as a cutting board or a landing spot for hot pans. Avoid these uses even when the surface looks undamaged.

Common questions
Can scratches in Corian® be repaired?
Yes. Corian® is solid all the way through, so most scratches and minor damage can be sanded and refinished.
Does Corian® need sealing?
No. Corian® is non-porous and needs only routine cleaning with soap and water.
Can the sink be part of the countertop?
Yes. Corian® sinks can be joined to the countertop with inconspicuous seams for a single, easy-to-clean surface.
Why does my Corian counter look blotchy?
Water left to dry can leave a film. Clean and dry the surface as directed in the Corian care guide.
Can I use window cleaner on Corian?
Corian advises against it because it can leave a waxy residue. Use a cleaner recommended for your finish.
Do dark Corian colors need more attention?
They can. Scratches and ordinary wear may be more visible on dark surfaces, especially at higher gloss levels.
