Compare the details, not just the color
Start with how the surface will be used. Consider contact with heat, food, cleaning products and everyday wear before narrowing the color choices.
Check the care instructions for the specific product and finish. Materials that look similar can have different cleaning requirements.
Look beyond a small sample
A sample helps you judge color, but it may not show the full pattern of a quartz design. Review larger design images when planning a prominent island or long counter. Common questions
Are Corian solid surface and Corian Quartz the same product?
No. They are different material categories with different fabrication and care requirements. See the Corian solid surface and Corian Quartz pages for each product.
Should I use the same cleaner on every surface?
No. Follow the instructions for the exact material and finish rather than assuming one cleaner is safe everywhere.
Does a stone sealer prevent acid etching?
