Avonite project photo

Avonite offers design solutions that push the boundaries of surfacing. The Studio Collection™ includes rich collections inspired by glass and precious metals, plus a recycled collection with 40% recycled content, produced in Belen, New Mexico.

Foundations™ products are 100% acrylic and produced in Florence, Kentucky, at one of the largest continuous-cast acrylic plants in the world.

Key features

  • Current AVONITE is an acrylic solid surface.
  • Nonporous surface supports straightforward cleaning.
  • Bonded assemblies have inconspicuous joints.
  • Thermoforming supports shaped designs.
  • Translucent options can support lighting effects.
  • Right Size sheet options can reduce fabrication scrap.

Best uses

AVONITE is worth considering for shaped commercial fixtures and projects that use light as a design feature. Discuss the selected color’s translucency and available sheet sizes before developing the layout.

Do not assume every color will produce the same lighting effect. A project that depends on backlighting needs confirmation of the exact material and a sample review.
