IceStone® recycled glass surfaces

IceStone®: icestone whitepearl plainfancy sink

A careful balance of design and sustainability has always set IceStone® surfaces apart. Clients today want more than good design: they want healthy, sustainable spaces that show respect for people and the planet.

IceStone's signature recycled glass and cement compositions remain a pioneer in the countertop industry.

Key features

  • Uses recycled glass, Portland cement and pigments.
  • Contains no petrochemical resins.
  • Dense but porous material requires sealing.
  • Acidic spills need prompt cleanup.
  • Trivets help protect the surface and sealer.
  • Cutting boards are recommended.

Best uses

IceStone can serve home and office counters when the owner accepts a sealing and spill-care routine. Place trays under coffee equipment and soap dispensers to help protect the finish.

It is not a maintenance-free alternative to nonporous surfaces. Counters exposed to lingering acidic liquids or harsh cleaning chemicals need a different care plan or another material.

IceStone® colors

A full, searchable IceStone® color library is coming to this page. Until then, browse the current lineup on the IceStone website, then tell us your pick.

Common questions

Does IceStone need a sealer?

Yes. IceStone’s care guide requires sealing before or at installation and ongoing resealing as needed. Check the maker’s current directions for the installed surface.

Can I use bleach or citrus cleaners?

The care guide says cleaners should be free of chlorine bleach, ammonia, acids and citrus scents.

How should I handle wine or fruit juice spills?

Wipe them up promptly with a damp cloth and water. These liquids need particular attention to protect the surface.
